Zellige: geometric mosaic
Glazed terracotta tiles ("furmas") hand-cut by maalems, assembled into intricate geometric patterns: stars, polygons. Rooted in Andalusian tradition, mainly practiced in Fez.
Tadelakt: Marrakech's smooth plaster
